Writer's picture: Paul CunninghamPaul Cunningham

The Governor of Queensland, His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, hosted a Morning Tea Grants Presentation, to award the recipients of the 2021 Queensland Community Fund (QCF) General Fund Grant round at Government House.

Directors, Denise Hunter and Jaeneen Cunningham were present to receive Safe Haven’s certificate from QFC Chair, Margaret McMurdo AC, in acknowledgement our successful grant application.

Funds from this grant will go towards establishing a program to assist women with court procedures. The program will be run from our Southport headquarters and aims to help support women and help maintain their confidence when attending court and increase the success rate of court orders.
